PRESENTING AN INTERN TEACHER TO AMITY
Preselected Interns are found by the Host School and not by the Amity Screening Officers. Some schools have connections apart from Amity, through which they locate their Preselected Interns.
The steps required in presenting your own Intern to Amity Institute are as follows:
- Candidate must meet Amity’s basic requirements in order for us to Sponsor them. Please click here for those requirements.
- Preselected candidate completes the necessary forms by following the Preselected Intern Teacher Application Instructions. After all the documents are complete, the candidate forwards those documents to the school.
- School reviews the candidate’s documents and interviews the candidate to see if he or she is the right person, also confirming references, resume, and contact information. Interview should include discussion of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
- School makes final decision to invite Preselected candidate, and faxes Preselected Intern Invitation Form and all the application documents to Amity.
